Metabolizing Change

Practices for sensing and softening into change with Maria Tan

June 6th

10am - 1pm EST online

Slow down, soften, and witness

Change can stir many things—emotion, resistance, hope, uncertainty. In a world that often asks us to be resilient, to bounce back, or to push forward, this workshop offers something quieter and deeper: a chance to slow down, soften, and witness how change lives in the body.

Metabolizing Change is a workshop of somatic practices designed to support you in coming into gentle relationship with change. Together, we’ll practice listening inward, tending to what’s alive in the body, and gently witnessing our relationship to change—and perhaps shifting it to allow more spaciousness and softening.

This is not a space to fix. It’s a space to feel.

To be with.

To co-create with what’s already unfolding.

In this 3-hour immersive experience, we’ll touch on:

  • Guided somatic practices to support emotional processing, clarity, and presence
  • A gentle framework for “metabolizing change”—how we can meet change with more spaciousness, softness, and trust
  • Time for reflection and journaling to ground your experience
  • Opportunities to share (optional) and be witnessed in community
  • Cultivating a deeper sense of connection—to yourself, your inner wisdom, and to the emerging future
