“Sometimes one thoughtful conversation can help shift the direction of an entire season of your life or work.”
Dr. Angel Acosta
About This Experience
At the Acosta Institute, we’ve come to believe that meaningful growth often requires more than motivation or hard work alone. Expanding into the next version of ourselves frequently involves expanding the mindset within which we operate and becoming more intentional about the ecosystem of support surrounding us. That understanding is part of the intention behind this offering.
Not everyone needs a long-term coaching container. Sometimes you simply need focused support around:
- A project
- A transition
- A business or creative idea
- Burnout or overwhelm
- Positioning your work
- Clarifying your next steps
- Thinking strategically with someone who can hold both vision and practicality
Â
To preserve the depth, responsiveness, and relational quality of this experience, enrollment is opened during select periods throughout the year. The current enrollment window for the 1-Week Coaching Sprint will remain open from June 1st through June 12th, and space is intentionally limited.
Â
The 1-Week Coaching Sprint was created for people who want meaningful support in an accessible and flexible format.
There are moments in our lives and work where we don’t necessarily need another course, another framework, or another productivity system. Sometimes what we need is thoughtful attention. A space to think clearly. A place where someone can help us see what’s already trying to emerge.
What This Coaching Sprint Includes
30-Minute Check-in Call with Dr. Angel Acosta
A focused live conversation to explore your goals, tensions, ideas, or next steps.
Asynchronous Voice Note Coaching
For one weeks, you’ll have direct access to ongoing support through voice messages using a mobile app. Share reflections, questions, ideas, or challenges as they arise—and receive thoughtful responses and strategic guidance in return.
Strategic Insight & Support
Whether you’re navigating burnout, launching something new, refining an offering, or repositioning your work, this sprint is designed to help you move forward with greater clarity and intention.
Who This Is For
This space may support you if:
- You’re holding a meaningful project or transition and want thoughtful support
- You’re building something community-centered, healing-centered, or mission-driven
- You feel clear in your purpose but need strategic guidance around execution
- You’ve been trying to carry everything alone
- You want support that feels relational, grounded, and honest
- You benefit from conversation, reflection, and real-time feedback
A Different Kind of Coaching
This is a space for thoughtful people doing meaningful work.
In the Community Coaching Call, one participant described feeling exhausted while trying to build something deeply aligned with her values and purpose. Another spoke about stepping into leadership and visibility in entirely new ways. Another reflected on rebuilding her professional life after losing her job and beginning again through technology, education, and creativity.
What emerged across all of those conversations was not the need for perfection.
It was the need for support.
For mirroring.
For strategic clarity.
For quality attention.
Voice-Note Coaching Support
The voice-note format creates a different kind of coaching rhythm—one that is integrated into real life rather than separated from it. Instead of waiting for a scheduled session, you’re able to process ideas, questions, tensions, and breakthroughs as they emerge. This allows the coaching process to become more immediate, reflective, and responsive to the realities of your day-to-day work and life.
Invitation
Due to Dr. Angel Acosta’s consulting, teaching, and leadership schedule, only a limited number of coaching participants are accepted during each enrollment period. Enrollment for the current 1-Week Coaching Sprint cycle will remain open from June 1st through June 12th. Because this work is intentionally personalized and relational, space is limited. Participants interested in beginning their coaching sprint in the coming weeks are encouraged to enroll during this window. This is also part of Dr. Acosta commitment to providing world class resources to the community in an affordable way.Â
If you’re navigating a meaningful transition, building something important, seeking greater clarity, or simply longing for thoughtful support as you move through this season of life and work. For the next 3 weeks, this opportunity is open for community members who register.
Support from partners and funders such as the W.K. Kellogg Foundation helps make offerings like this possible by allowing the Acosta Institute to subsidize and extend high-quality, relational coaching support to the broader community while honoring the depth and value of Dr. Angel Acosta’s time and expertise.
We look forward to learning more about you, your work, and what kind of support would feel most meaningful at this time.

CoachÂ
Dr. Angel AcostaÂ
Dr. Angel Acosta is an educator, coach, entrepreneur, and founder of the Acosta Institute, an interdisciplinary organization working at the intersection of healing-centered education, leadership development, business transformation, and ethical technology. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Acosta has coached educators, founders, nonprofit leaders, creatives, and executives navigating moments of transition, growth, reinvention, and strategic expansion. Rooted in a relational and healing-centered approach, his work integrates thoughtful reflection, strategic insight, and deep listening to help individuals move toward greater clarity, alignment, and possibility in their personal and professional lives.
Over the years, Dr. Acosta has come to understand coaching not simply as problem-solving or performance optimization, but as a process of accompaniment—one that helps people reconnect with what matters most and discern how they want to move forward. Some of the most meaningful shifts in his own journey as a scholar, educator, and founder emerged through conversations that challenged him to think differently about what he was building, what he was carrying, and what kind of support he truly needed. That spirit of thoughtful attention, grounded strategy, and honest reflection continues to shape the way he approaches coaching today.
