Composting Our Grief: A Tender Space for Healing & Reflection

“Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.”
— Martín Prechtel
In these overwhelming times, we are invited again and again to let go—of people, possibilities, identities, and ways of being. Each letting go leaves a trace. Many of us carry unspoken sorrow, quiet heartbreaks, and aching memories that have nowhere to land.
Join Dr. Angel Acosta for a Grief Circle—a gentle and sacred container to hold what is most dear to us that has gone away. Whether you’re mourning the loss of a loved one, an era of your life, a dream deferred, or the state of the world, this space is for you.
Together, we will:
- Ground through guided meditation and breathwork
- Reflect through quiet writing and inner inquiry
- Enter a tender open circle of sharing and communal witnessing
- Begin to compost our grief, transforming sorrow into presence, meaning, and connection
This is not a space for fixing or analyzing. It is a space for being. For feeling. For honoring.
Come as you are. Bring a candle, a photo, or something meaningful if you wish.
