We’re so glad to welcome you to the 2025 International Healing-Centered Education Conference — Fortitude & Discernment in Times of Disruption. In a time marked by complexity and rapid change, it has never been more important to create spaces that strengthen our capacity to care, reflect, and lead with humanity. This year’s conference invites educators, leaders, and practitioners to explore how healing-centered approaches can renew our classrooms, organizations, and communities, helping both children and adults thrive. Capacity Building Through the Alchemy of Now
with Drisana McDaniel
In this transformative session, Drisana McDaniel will guide participants through the "Alchemy of Now," a framework designed to foster personal and societal transformation. Drawing from Black feminist and womanist philosophies, ecological theories, and holistic healing practices, Drisana will offer insights into addressing contemporary challenges of disconnection and societal fragmentation. Attendees will engage in reflective and healing-centered practices aimed at building resilience and mindfulness, empowering them to create more socially just and ecologically aware communities.
