this conference is an opportunity to further explore and promote the healing-centered and restorative paradigm in education.
We are inviting scholars and practitioners
to explore critical questions such as
how to build on existing healing-centered approaches like social-emotional learning, mindfulness-based education, trauma-informed care, restorative justice, and decolonizing education to create thriving classrooms, cultures, and institutions. Together, we will uncover the best practices for cultivating healing-centered environments, fostering inclusive and equitable education, and supporting justice and accessibility work.
Scholars, educators, and practitioners from all disciplines and levels of education are welcome to submit proposals for workshops, short presentations, and spoken word performances that engage participants in healing-centered pedagogy.
