Tracey Lenhardt

Tracey Lenhardt is an activist, educator, and community builder whose work weaves together law, wellness, and advocacy to advance healing and equity. A former lawyer, fitness professional, and law school educator, Tracey brings a multidisciplinary approach to her mission of normalizing conversations around domestic abuse and creating pathways for recovery, empowerment, and belonging. She is also a writer, poet, and artist who believes storytelling can be a catalyst for social transformation.

Her work is deeply informed by her lived experience as a survivor of domestic abuse and a “walking quadriplegic.” Through her personal healing journey—one that has included trauma recovery, meditation, yoga, and advocacy for disability and neurodiversity—Tracey has become a powerful voice for justice and compassion. She has worked across education, law, and non-profit sectors, building programs and writing grants to expand access to arts, athletics, and special education resources for historically disenfranchised communities.

Through the Acosta Institute Fellowship, Tracey hopes to deepen her healing-centered leadership and refine her platform for holistic wellness and social equity. She envisions building a space where survivors, educators, and advocates can come together to reimagine systems—education, healthcare, employment, and beyond—through the lens of love, unity, and collective healing.
