Stephanie Knox

Stephanie Knox (she/her) is a peace educator, writer, and facilitator whose work centers on unlearning separation and remembering our interbeing with all of life. Through her teaching, research, and writing, she explores regenerative peace pedagogies, re-enchanting education in precarious times, and transrational ways of knowing, including community dreamwork as a practice of relational learning and collective imagination. An ordained member of the Order of Interbeing in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, she also co-founded the Jill Knox Peace through Humor Fellowship, supporting peacebuilders through creativity, reflection, and compassionate practice.

Stephanie is drawn to work that invites people to imagine new ways of being together—where education becomes a space for healing, relationship, and shared possibility. She approaches this work with a deep trust in contemplative practice, collective imagination, and the transformative power of community. Entering the Fellowship at a profound moment of personal and professional transition, she embraces this threshold with openness, seeing it as an invitation to continue growing alongside others who are committed to peace, justice, and renewal.

As an Acosta Institute Fellow, Stephanie looks forward to exploring what becomes possible when healing-centered leadership is rooted in connection, creativity, and courageous imagination. She hopes to learn with—and contribute to—a community committed to reimagining education and cultivating more peaceful, compassionate futures together.
