Ronisha "Ronnett Shadon" Hayden

Ronisha “Ronnett Shadon” Hayden is the Founder and CEO of Womb 2 Worthy, a social enterprise committed to breaking cycles of generational trauma for Black women by rebuilding self-trust through nervous system regulation, lifelong learning, and community. Raised by an under-supported teenage mother, Ronnett brings both lived experience and professional training to her work, creating culturally responsive pathways toward healing, self-leadership, and collective liberation. As the creator of the Womb 2 Worthy Self-Mothering Framework and a Certified Peer Support Specialist, she is building a movement rooted in recovery, resilience, and belonging.

Ronnett's work is deeply personal. After returning to higher education following a decade away to complete her degree in Sociology, she has continued shaping a vision where Black women are safe, resourced, and empowered to transform not only their own lives but also their families and communities. She enters this work from a place of purpose, believing that healing begins with reclaiming self-worth and grows through relationships, accountability, and courageous community.

As an Acosta Institute Fellow, Ronnett is stepping into what she describes as a season of rebirth and expansion. She hopes to grow alongside fellow leaders who challenge and inspire her while contributing her lived experience, thoughtful presence, and commitment to community healing. She looks forward to co-creating spaces where people can become fuller versions of themselves and where healing-centered leadership is grounded in both personal transformation and collective liberation.
