Alisha Saucedo
Alisha Saucedo is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, Registered Play Therapy Supervisor, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant, Breathwork Facilitator, and Ceramic Artist. For more than fourteen years, she has supported individuals and families through trauma, relationships, sexuality, and mental health, integrating body-based practices, creativity, and deep compassion into her work. From clinical settings to hospitals, nonprofits, schools, and community spaces, Alisha's work is rooted in helping people reconnect with themselves and experience greater freedom, healing, and wholeness.
Grounded in a lifelong commitment to human wellbeing—from conception through end-of-life care—Alisha is drawn to communities that value authentic connection, collaboration, and shared learning. Her work reflects a belief that healing happens not only in therapeutic spaces but also through creativity, relationships, and the courage to explore new ways of being. Whether facilitating breathwork, supporting survivors, or creating through ceramics, she approaches every space with openness, curiosity, and care.
As an Acosta Institute Fellow, Alisha looks forward to learning alongside others who are equally committed to healing-centered leadership while exploring new ways to integrate somatic practice, creativity, and community into lasting personal and systemic transformation. She hopes to both contribute to and grow within a community rooted in reflection, collaboration, and meaningful change.
