Adrianna Menchaca

Adrianna Menchaca is a mother, daughter, sister, auntie, lifelong friend, and community-centered leader who has spent approximately a decade working with youth-serving nonprofit organizations across the metro Denver area. She believes lasting community change begins with young people and has extended that commitment through volunteer work with urban gardens and restorative justice programs. Outside of her professional life, Adrianna finds joy in being outdoors, sharing meals with loved ones, learning new things, and settling into a good series.

Adrianna’s work reflects a deep investment in relationships, community wellbeing, and the environments young people need in order to thrive. Her experience across youth development, restorative practice, and community-based initiatives suggests a leadership approach grounded in presence, service, and the belief that meaningful transformation grows through sustained care. She enters the Fellowship with an openness that allows others to come to know her through relationship rather than through titles or predetermined descriptions.

As an Acosta Institute Fellow, Adrianna hopes to learn alongside others who are exploring healing-centered leadership and creating lasting change within their communities. She brings years of experience supporting young people and a strong belief in their capacity to shape more just and connected futures. During the Fellowship, she has the opportunity to deepen the relationship between youth development, restorative practice, community healing, and her own evolving leadership.
