Wanjîkū J. Kîarîe is a Trauma-Informed Integrated Wellbeing Practitioner, Spiritual Director, and Founder of Integrated Living—a practice that weaves together ancestral wisdom, somatic healing, and modern therapeutic modalities. She draws from an expansive toolkit that includes Family and Organizational Constellation Systems Therapy, Touch and Movement Therapy, Somatic Experiencing®, Herbal Medicine, Art and Nature-based therapies, and Ancestral and Intergenerational Healing. Through this integrative approach, Wanjîkū supports individuals, families, and organizations in cultivating balance, embodiment, and spiritual wholeness.
Her path as an Integrated Healer is grounded in a seamless blending of traditions—honoring both her lineage as a traditional medicine woman and her formation within Western healing frameworks as an ordained minister. Wanjîkū’s work embodies her belief that healing is both personal and collective, ancestral and emergent. She views the process of integration as an act of liberation: a way to restore harmony within individuals and the ecosystems they inhabit.
Through the Acosta Institute Fellowship, Wanjîkū is deepening her practice of healing-centered leadership and exploring new ways to build spaces for integrated healing. She envisions sanctuaries where healers can rest and replenish, seekers can be guided in their journeys, and communities can experience what she calls “living integration”—a return to wholeness that honors spirit, body, and the earth.
