Neddy Yong
Neddy Yong is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) whose sacred mission is to nurture compassionate, justice-rooted spirituality in families and communities. As Project Director for the Radically Inclusive Parenting Project, she supports caregivers in cultivating healing-centered practices at home, where the seeds of transformation often begin. Neddy’s path is deeply shaped by her roles as a spiritual director, business strategist, and mother of four, all of which inform her grounded and holistic leadership.
Drawing from her MBA, a certificate in spiritual direction, and years of ministry, Neddy brings a multidimensional approach to leadership that honors the interconnectedness of faith, justice, and family life. She centers the questions of how we collectively raise the next generation of change makers and how we foster healing in the most intimate of spaces—our homes. For Neddy, parenting is sacred activism, and nurturing the inner world of children is a radical form of spiritual care.
In the Acosta Institute Fellowship, Neddy seeks to deepen her leadership within contemplative and healing-centered frameworks, and to connect with others committed to holistic, transformative change. She dreams of a world where children experience spiritual freedom in their homes—where the most vulnerable bodies are cherished, and where caregivers are spiritually resourced to lead healing revolutions from within.
