Dr. Monica Anguiano, Ed.D.
Dr. Monica Anguiano is an educator and leadership development specialist whose journey in education began in the classroom and has expanded into supporting leaders, districts, and universities in building stronger systems for educators and students. Across each role she has held, her focus has remained consistent: investing in people and partnerships so communities can create meaningful and sustainable change from within. Her work centers on cultivating environments where collaboration, reflection, and shared leadership open new possibilities for both educators and learners.
Throughout her career, Monica has been deeply committed to developing leaders and strengthening educator preparation. She is especially drawn to communities that believe lasting impact happens when people grow and lead together. Her approach to systems change is rooted in relationships—bringing people into thoughtful dialogue, encouraging collective reflection, and supporting organizations as they build cultures that allow innovation and opportunity to flourish.
Through the Acosta Institute Fellowship, Monica is excited to engage with a community of leaders who are willing to wrestle with complex questions about education, leadership, and change. She looks forward to contributing her experience in leadership development while also learning alongside others who are committed to building more thoughtful, collaborative, and possibility-centered systems for the future of education.
