Jill Stansbury

Jill Stansbury is a wellness consultant, meditation teacher, and educational leader committed to cultivating individual and collective well-being. Based in Blaine, Washington, Jill has spent over three decades working across cultural contexts—as a teacher, school administrator, and coach—collaborating with communities in the U.S., China, the Philippines, Singapore, and several African nations. She holds a master’s in educational leadership from DePaul University and brings a mindful, equity-centered approach to every space she enters.

A seasoned meditation practitioner with over 30 years of experience, Jill is qualified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through Brown University and has led meditation practice groups for the past 15 years. Her spiritual path is grounded in interfaith learning, drawing from Buddhist and Hindu teachings and a variety of contemplative traditions. She is currently completing a health and wellness coaching certification through Duke University and has recently begun developing tailored mindfulness and wellness programming for both cancer survivors and 2SLGBTQAI+ communities through her work with the Bellingham Queer Collective.

As a Fellow, Jill brings a rare combination of contemplative depth, global educational insight, and a fierce commitment to healing justice. She is eager to build alongside others who understand that wellness is not a luxury—it is a birthright, and a foundation for lasting change. Her work is rooted in the belief that when we create homes, schools, and organizations that nourish well-being, we lay the groundwork for a more compassionate, connected world.
