Ed Campos Jr.
Ed Campos Jr. is an independent consultant, educator, and creative learning designer dedicated to making education joyful, brain-friendly, and deeply human. A former high school math and computer science teacher, Ed now leads Ed Campos Jr Consulting and the nonprofit Campo Creativo, where he designs engaging STEAM professional learning experiences for educators across California and beyond. He also serves as Co-Director of the STEAM Leadership Certificate Program at the Krause Center for Innovation at Foothill College, helping educators imagine new possibilities for teaching, creativity, and innovation in the classroom.
Ed’s work is rooted in the belief that learning should spark curiosity, creativity, and joy for both educators and students. Through his workshops and leadership programs, he supports teachers and school leaders in designing experiences that activate the brain and invite play, experimentation, and exploration. His approach reflects a blend of technical knowledge, creative energy, and a commitment to helping educators rediscover the excitement that drew them to teaching in the first place.
Through the Acosta Institute Fellowship, Ed is excited to grow in community with others who are exploring healing-centered leadership and innovative approaches to education. As someone who has been practicing mindfulness and meditation for years and is exploring practices like Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and yoga, he is interested in deepening the connection between well-being, creativity, and learning. During the Fellowship, he looks forward to exchanging ideas, building relationships, and co-creating new possibilities for joyful and transformative education.
