Brooke Chuddley Diatta

Brooke Chuddley Diatta is a gardener, writer, and educator whose work is rooted in joy, justice, liberation, and love. She sees the natural world as both teacher and healer, drawing inspiration from flowers, ferns, dragonflies, and the quiet wisdom of the earth. Brooke holds deep gratitude for the teachers, healers, truth-tellers, freedom fighters, mentors, ancestors, and guides who have shaped her path, and she carries a belief that everyone deserves to be liberated in love, to live in peace, and to experience joyful freedom.

Through her work in education and writing, Brooke is committed to creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with the deeper possibilities of liberation and healing. Her approach is reflective and intentional, guided by a desire to honor both personal and collective journeys toward justice and wholeness. She brings a thoughtful voice shaped by creativity, care, and a deep respect for the many traditions and lineages that inform her work.

During her time in the Acosta Institute Fellowship, Brooke looks forward to learning in community with others who are committed to healing-centered leadership and transformative practice. She is excited to deepen her exploration of how joy, nature, and liberation can inform the ways we teach, lead, and build community. Through reflection, writing, and shared learning, she hopes to co-create spaces where healing and justice can flourish together.
